Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Naturaly, operated by Kernel LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using Naturaly, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. The Service

Naturaly provides AI-powered writing tools including text humanization, resume tailoring, AI detection, and content generation ("the Service"). The Service is provided as-is, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Naturaly. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not share your account credentials with others or use the Service through automated means (bots, scripts) to circumvent usage limits.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Naturaly is a subscription service billed monthly ($12/month) or annually ($79/year). All billing is handled by Stripe.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then
• We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at [email protected]

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Naturaly to:

• Submit, generate, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or harmful
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to deceive, defraud, or harm other people
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits through technical means
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
• Submit malware, viruses, or other harmful code

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

6. Academic Integrity

Naturaly is a writing improvement tool. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Naturaly complies with any academic integrity policies, honor codes, or institutional rules that apply to you. We make no representations about whether use of our Service is permitted under any specific institution's policies.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Naturaly. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not use your submitted content to train AI models. We do not sell your content to third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

The Naturaly name, logo, software, and website design are owned by Kernel LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.

9. AI-Generated Output

Naturaly generates content using AI. We do not guarantee that AI-generated output will be accurate, original, error-free, or appropriate for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking responsibility for any content you publish or submit that was assisted by Naturaly.

We make no warranty that content processed by Naturaly will pass any specific AI detection tool, as detection methods change frequently and vary in accuracy.

10. Usage Limits

To ensure fair access for all subscribers, we enforce the following limits:

• Maximum 2,500 words per single request
• Maximum 15,000 words per hour
• Maximum 50,000 words per day
• Maximum 30 requests per hour

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KERNEL LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may terminate your account at any time from the Account page.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bristol County, Massachusetts.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptanc
