Naturaly ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Kernel LLC, 690 Taunton Ave, Seekonk, MA 02771. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use naturaly.ai.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Naturaly:

• Account information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account
• Payment information: Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your credit card number — only a Stripe customer ID
• Usage data: Word counts, request counts, and estimated processing costs to enforce fair usage limits
• Content you submit: Text you paste for humanization, resume content, and job descriptions are processed to generate your output
• IP address: Used solely to enforce the free demo rate limit (3 demos per IP per day)
• Device and browser data: Standard web analytics such as browser type, operating system, and referring URL

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Naturaly service
• To process your subscription payments via Stripe
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts, subscription updates)
• To respond to support requests
• To analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the product

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your submitted text to train AI models.

3. Content You Submit

Text you submit for humanization, resume tailoring, or AI detection is processed in real time by the Anthropic Claude API to generate your output. We do not permanently store the content of your submissions beyond what is necessary to generate your output and maintain your session.

Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. We encourage you not to submit sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical records) through Naturaly.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following service providers:

• Anthropic: Processes text submissions to generate AI outputs
• Stripe: Handles all payment processing and subscription management
• Google Firebase: Provides authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Naturaly and its users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage logs (word counts, request counts) are retained for 90 days. After account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

IP addresses used for demo rate limiting are stored for 24 hours and then automatically overwritten.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking. We may use basic analytics (Google Analytics or similar) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — this data is anonymized.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Firebase Authentication, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential communications
